I chose IQRA University after I visited the campus. The faculty provided was one of the best: Mr. Shaftab , Dr. Jamil, Mr. Ismaeel, Mr. Mohsin Rahmatullah, Mr. Shameem Zafar and many others Meeting some of the faculty also made my choice an easy one. Their helpfulness and advice showed me that they cared. And it was due to all their care and attention that I achieved distinctions through out my MCS program and now it is paying off in my professional career and growth. IQRA provided an important opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of current issues in the field of communications and technology.It contributed to my engaging in informative discussions with colleagues. The program provides an effective balance between theory and practical concerns, while striving to ensure students have a firm grounding in the intellectual traditions of the field.

After finishing my intermediate I searched many university brochures for a course which would suit my objectives. I had always been interested in databases ,developing complex software and learning latest technologies since these are emerging very fast. A natural offshoot of databases is business intelligence which helps with making strategic decisions in any big firm. This was the area I was most interested in. Hence I chose BCS(Hons) with specialization in Data Warehousing at IQRA because it covered subjects like Database Tools & Techniques, Data Modeling & Data Warehousing, Internet & Web Technologies, System Planning, Strategy & Management. These courses seemed tailor made for the direction I wanted to go in. Besides all that, the support and infrastructure at IQRA University was very accommodating especially when I was doing my final project. My supervisor provided very competent support for a very complex implementation of Oracle related management servers. My time at IQRA University equipped me with the technical and business skills that I am using in my life today.
